  • 1980-1983 Lecturer in Computer Science.
  • 1983-1986 Systems Software Manager - Dragon Data Ltd, then Thorn-EMI.
  • 1986-date Lecturer in Computer Science

  • The application of XML for data exchange and contextual relevance.

  • Web technologies. In particular, Java, XML and Frontier
  • Use of computers in education - primary school to university
  • Use of computers in regenerating/empowering communities
