Our success stories

Eirini Komninou

In particular I am looking into the prospect of commercialising software technology that was initially developed throughout my PhD studies, aiming at combining the notion of mathematically modelling a process and optimising it using metaheuristics to assist the Aerospace industry meet its current market demand.

In September 2014 Eirini was awarded Enterprise Fellowship by the Royal Society of Edinburgh, funded by Scottish Enterprise. The aim of this fellowship is to investigate the prospect of commercialising decision support systems that can benefit various industries, enabling them to deliver their offerings faster, cheaper, better.
